The hotel continues to evolve, reaffirming its position as a progressive property that adjusts to each new era. The hotel has and will always be, on The Edge. The Edgewater has welcomed numerous celebrities throughout the years, perhaps the most famous of whom were The Beatles. Staying at the hotel during their first world tour in 1964 they were rushed back to the hotel after the show in an ambulance, while taxi cabs and stand-ins were used as decoys. The Fab Four fished from the window of room 272, the photograph of which has become famous. Since then, the hotel has accommodated many iconic rock bands including Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.

Facing south west, these 350 square foot partial view rooms offer glimpses of downtown Seattle, Qwest and Safeco Fields, the cruise ship terminal and, of course, sparkling Elliott Bay. If the skies are clear, you may even get to see Mt. Rainer! While you are taking in the sights, enjoy a cup of Starbucks coffee, or Tazo tea and bask in the glow of your gas fireplace. If your travels have been long, take some time in your glass surround shower to wash away the day. Completing this charming room are a gas fireplace, sitting chair, and queen size bed (two double beds may be requested. Bed type is subject to availability at check in).

FROM I 5: Take Mercer St./Fairview exit. Turn right onto Fairview and follow road, take left at Daniel's Broiler. Go straight through the next light and continue past Space Needle on Broad St., which leads to the waterfront. Cross the railroad tracks and bear left onto Alaskan Way. Hotel on the right. Pier 67 FROM HIGHWAY 99 SOUTHBOUND: Take exit at end of Battery Street Tunnel. Turn right onto Western Avenue and proceed to the left lane. Turn left onto Wall St. Cross Alaskan Way into hotel's parking lot. FROM HIGHWAY 99 NORTHBOUND: Take the Western Street exit and proceed to Wall street. Turn left onto Wall street and continue straight 1 block into hotel parking lot.
