New art work incorporating our majestic Alaskan landscape accents the decor. The Prospector Hotel offers 62 spacious rooms each equipped with a lovely cherry wood hospitality unit containing a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker with local Heritage brand gourmet coffee. In addition, each room has televisions with premium cable - including HBO, hair dryers, direct dial telephones - no charge for local calls, around the clock security, a copy of the New York Times Fax and plenty of parking with covered parking available at no charge. In the lobby from 6:30am to 9:30am, our guests will find a complimentary coffee service. In addition, we have a meeting room and catering available. Our full service restaurant and lounge, TK Maguires, offers a panoramic ocean view, along with a sundeck that overlooks Gastineau Channel.
