Iditarod Sled Dog Race (Mar.) This extremely beautiful course was built on hilly terrain. The fairways are tree lined, and the small greens are fast. Water hazards come into play on five holes, so shot accuracy is at a premium. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 2nd "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 4th in the same category for 1997-98. The 6,115-yard men's tees also has a ladies' course rating of 74.6 and a slope of 132.

From From the Airport: E From Ted Steven's Airport, travel east on International Airport Road approximately one mile to Jewel Lake Road (second traffic light). Turn left on Jewel Lake Road and travel one block. Turn left on Aviation Drive and go one block to the hotel parking lot entrance.
From From the South: N Travel Northbound on Seward Highway to the O'Malley Exit. Take O'Malley westbound, which turns into Minnesota Drive. Continue on Minnesota Drive northbound to the International Airport exit. Go west on International Airport Road for two miles to Jewel Lake Road and go one block to Aviation Drive, go one block to the hotel parking lot entrance.
From From the North: S From Glenn Highway westbound through downtown Anchorage (Glenn turns into Fifth Avenue). Take Fifth Avenue through town to 'L' street and travel for approximately six miles ('L' becomes Minnesota Drive) to the International Airport exit. Exit Minnesota Drive westbound to Jewel Lake Road. Turn right on Jewel Lake Road and go one block to Aviation Drive. Turn left on Aviation Drive to the hotel parking lot entrance.
