The Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza is a beautiful hotel that was built in 1884. We offer our guests an atmosphere of personal and individual attention and the highest conceivable level of service. There is one thing on which we never compromise - personal service. The building, located at 29 Birger Jarlsgatan, was designed by an unknown architect in 1884. Since then it has been the home of many different businesses, such as the Hotel Clara Larsson, for example. At the rear of the hotel was the legendary, Restaurant Damberg, which opened in 1903. The real estate office, however, wanted to demoloish the building in 1979, but this was opposed by the Stockholm City Museum. Elite Hotels took over the property and after a very extensive, full restoration program, the new hotel opened in 1984.

Conference Facilities The Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza offers three conference rooms, the largest of which can accommodate 50 people. The elegant rooms are light and well equipped with all the necessary technical equipment. The rooms are all equipped with Overhead projectors, Flip chart, Whiteboard, TV/Video, telephone, ISDN and wireless Internet access. We can also provide you with LCD-projector and loudspeaker system. Our new and comfortable conference lobby is suitable for taking a break and have some refreshments such as a cup of coffee or juice. Vassa Eggen Restaurant On the ground floor, overlooking Birger Jarls gatan, you will find one of Stockholm's top restaurants, Vassa Eggen. The restaurant opened in April 2002 and the restaurateurs, Christian Olsson and Kristoffer Sandstrom, who operate the business, were also involved in the design of the restaurant, which was done by a design company in Stockholm. This is a "fine dining" restaurant with high ambitions in regard to the dishes served and the service.

From Arlanda Airport Stockholm: With a taxi you can go directly from Arlanda to the hotel. The drivers will know the address. The Arlanda Express train takes 20 minutes, departs every ten minutes and stops at Central Station. The flight coach departs every five minutes and takes 40 minutes to Central Station. From Central station you can walk, take a taxi or the subway. Select the red-line trains heading for Ostermalm and choose the exit, Birger Jarls gatan. Driving south on E4 to Stockholm exit at Norrtull, drive thru the roundabout and keep going for 200 meters until you reach Roslagstull. Pass this roundabout and turn right at Birger Jarls gatan. Stay on this street for 3 kilometres. Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza is located at number 29 on your right-hand side.
