The Elite Palace Hotel opened in 1958. The hotel was built to accommodate the growing number of people traveling by car. The hotel was unique in the way it was built on top of the garages of the Philipson group, with hotel rooms beginning on the fourth floor. The garage, situated in the basement, had 250 parking spaces. You could also get your car serviced during the day. The hotel was also one of Stockholm's largest and most modern hotels even then. Today, Elite Palace hotel is a four star hotel with 216 rooms and a large conference and banqueting facility. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities and many of them have a bathtub where you can relax after a hard day's work.
Location description: Elite Palace Hotel is located in the picturesque part of central Stockholm called Vasastan. Within walking distance of the hotel you will find Odenplan and St. Eriksplan where there are plenty of restaurants and shops/boutiques. You will also find the subway here. Elite Palace Hotel is easily accessible no matter how you choose to travel. If you are coming from the airport, the airport shuttle stops in front of the hotel. Travellers by car will find the hotel located near the exits from the E18 and the E4/E20. We offer convenient parking in our hotel garage.

Guest Room (Standard Room) The Elite Palace Hotel has 216 pleasantly decorated rooms of various sizes, everything from singles to doubles and triple or four-bed rooms suitable for families. Most of the rooms are non-smoking. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities and many of them have a bathtub where you can relax after a hard day's work. Enjoy an entertaining movie on the cable-TV or Pay Per View channels, treat yourself to a relaxing foam bath or plug in your computer and finish off the day's work listening to classical music. Most of the rooms are equipped with Telia Homerun, Wireless LAN.
Conference Facilities The Elite Palace Hotel is a popular conference facility in the heart of Stockholm, with almost 1000 square metres of conference space. Here you will find a variety of rooms suitable for every occasion. The hotel has 6 meeting rooms and 9 conference rooms, the largest one seating 150 people. Regardless of whether you need help with a small informal meeting or a larger exhibition, the Elite Palace Hotel is at your service. All rooms are equipped with Overhead projectors, Flip chart, Whiteboard, writing material and access to TV/Video and wide screen projection. If you have other wishes it will be our pleasure to oblige you.
Banquet Facilities We arrange all kinds of banquets for up to 180 guests in our highly appreciated and newly renovated restaurant. Contact us for more information and ideas. We can arrange cocktail parties for up to 400 guests. Upon request we also arrange parties with DJ and dancing.
Taabla - Restaurant & Bar In our restaurant we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a modern, relaxed environment. We can also arrange banquets for up to 150 people. This is also where you will find the hotel bar.

From North Bound: When you are driving north follow Essingeleden north around the city. Take off at Norrtull and follow the white sign toward St Eriksplan. Pass below the Solna Bridge and you will see a gas station named JET on your right side, turn right to Dalagatan. When you reach St Eriksplan you will find us on your right hand side.
From South Bound E4/E18: When you are driving south follow E4/E18 toward Norrtull, after Karolinska Sjukhuset choose the right lane. When you reach Norrtull follow the white sign towards St Eriksplan. When you reach St Eriksplan you will find us a 100 metres ahead on your right hand side.
