Hotel Description

There are a number of labels that could be used to describe Hotel Hellsten - Design, Hip or Boutique being three of them. The founder's firm intention, however, is that the hotel should be a meeting place for travellers of all disciplines and interests, and become their home while staying in Stockholm. The garden wing of the building was earlier the home of several record companies. A fully equipped international standard recording studio, designed by Sweden's foremost acoustic designer, operates in the basement, with the elevator reaching directly there from the hotel rooms above. In the basement is now a fully equipped gym.

Guest Rooms (Standard Room) Interior design and furnishings change from room to room. Some rooms feature various antiques, including Swedish farm antiques, while others have a distinct Asian touch. The rooms have the necessary support functions for a productive and relaxing stay with TV and broadband access. The bathrooms all have showers, and there are some with a bathtub as well. The bathrooms are tiled with Karystos stone on the walls. Karystos is a rich, grey slate, which has been imported from a quarry on a Greek Island. All bathrooms are equipped with floor heating, towel dryer, hairdryer, telephone, etc.

From Arlanda Airport Stockholm: Take the E4 to Stockholm and exit at Norrtull/Karolinska Sjukuset, follow Uppsalavaegen on the E20 until Stockholm. Turn right and follow Sveaplan and after that Sveavaegen. Turn left after 1.3km/0.8mi and follow Tegnergatan from there you will reach Luntmakargatan.
